The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Peer Advisor program offers course credits to CALS students that have attended at least one full year of college. CALS Peer Advisors provide valuable assistance to incoming freshman and transfer students and help with their transition to the University of Idaho. .

Peer Advisors help new students by:
- informing them about University support services and our eight departmental offerings
- extending invitations to meetings and events such as New Student Orientation, Ag Days, and the CALS picnic
- offering encouragement during mid-terms
- checking on their semester progress
