Research Interests:

Develop modified and novel methods to fractionate grains and concentrate nutrients for trout feed ingredients and other value-added utilization

Evaluate and process current improved cultivars of grains, such as low-phytate grains, for making fish feed ingredients

Evaluate and further process protein-rich by-products of current industrial processing of grains

Develop improved analytical methods for some key grains nutrients to assist ARS plant scientists breeding new crop cultivars with enhanced composition.
