The IAES mission is to conduct basic and applied research to support Idaho's and the nation's agricultural, natural and human resources, and to improve the quality of life for all citizens. Along with the Coopertaive Extension System, scientific knowledge is disseminated and used to educate citizens and help them apply the latest technology to their communities, businesses, lives and families through extension programs. These missions are accomplished through research and extension programs located at the main campus in Moscow, at ten Research and Extension Centers located throughout the state, and at county extension offices in 42 of Idaho's 44 counties.
