Research:
Conducts physiological and applied studies of woody landscape
plants. Conducts research in shoot regeneration (in vitro)
of woody and herbaceous plants, uses of woody and
agricultural wastes or by-products
in potting mixes, transplanting conifers, and nursery
production of native plants.
Extension:
Provides support for landscape plant
production, landscape management, and home horticulture.
Teaching:
Plant tissue culture, nursery management, landscape maintenance,
and plant propagation
Advising:
Undergraduate advisor, graduate major professor and graduate
committee member, Advisor to Plant and Soil Science Club
