Education: Ph.D., Montana State University ; Dipl. Ing. Gartenbau (FH), University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan, Germany

Extension:
Develops and disseminates extension programs for integrated pest management in sugar beet production, with emphasis on the control of soil-borne and foliar pathogens.  Serves as a general plant pathologist for alfalfa, beans, barley, and corn. Cooperates with university and federal personnel and private companies in Idaho and surrounding states.

Research:
Conducts research and develops new integrated pest management programs in sugar beets and other commodities.  Tests new and existing fungicides and seed treatments .
