Research programs emphasize variety-specific management regimes, control of soil and seed borne diseases, and interactions of pesticides with crop growth and physiology. Provides research programs, technical support and educational materials that increase knowledge of clientele of cropping systems, disease control and adoption of new techniques and potato varieties. Acts as Director of the Idaho Center for Potato Research and Education.
