Areas of Expertise

Involved in evaluation and market development of specialty potato varieties, including reds, yellows, colored flesh types, and fingerlings.  In cooperation with Tri-state researchers, specialty clones are evaluated for adaptation, yield, and cooking quality. Also evaluates potato and other vegetable varieties for use in farmer’s market and truck farm production.
