Dean's Advisory Board


The primary purpose of this organization shall be to advise the dean, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences in matters pertaining to college programs.

In this role, it will assist in establishing a closer working relationship between the agricultural industries of Idaho and the administration, faculty, staff and programs of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences in teaching, research, extension, and international efforts by:

	Helping fit all segments of Idaho agriculture into the integrated programs of the college
	Advising and counseling with representatives of the college concerning major agricultural issues of the state
	Identifying problems associated with the production, processing, marketing and distribution of food and fiber and assisting in the development of realistic research and extension programs to meet the needs of agriculture, families, youth and consumers
	Serving in a liaison capacity with the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and organized agricultural and closely allied group in Idaho
