Eucaryotic expression vector for fusion protein consisting of EGFP and the Nuclear Localization Signal from SV40 Large T Antigen.

Base Vector: pCDNA3 (Invitrogen)

EGFP was amplified from pIRES-EGFP (Clonetech) cloned into pCR2.1 then into pCDNA3 as a Hind III/Eco RI frag. = pGFP

SV40 TAg NLS was cloned as an EcoRI/fill in: Hinc II frag. Into pGFP cut with Eco RV.

The resulting plasmid contains 4 tandem repeats of the TAg NLS.
