Dr. Fletcher has over 30 years experience working with children birth to eight, and their parents. She directed the University of Idaho Child Development Laboratory for preschool age children, was a public school teacher, and a developmental specialist working in early intervention programs with children birth to age five and their parents. She is an award winning college teacher who teaches child development courses and family/parent courses. She works diligently on behalf of young children in the policy arena, and is a past president of the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children. Dr. Fletcher’s research focus is feeding young children in group settings. She is committed to supporting trainers who work with child care programs, Head Start programs, and school (K-3 staff) across the age groups of birth through age eight.
