Dr. Erik Anderson is Professor of Agricultural Information and Director of Academic Programs at the University of Idaho’s Coeur d’Alene campus. As Director of Academic Programs, he is responsible for the university’s program development and delivery in northern Idaho. He also is responsible for student recruitment and retention, and program marketing. Dr. Anderson has more than 25 years of experience in communications, instructional design, and distance education. He also served as Director of Educational Communications in the University of Idaho’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences from 2001 to 2008. Dr. Anderson has secured more than $2 million in external grant funding to support innovative technology-based projects. He also has served as a collaborator on numerous regional and national distance education projects. Anderson holds a PhD in Adult Education from the University of Idaho and a Master’s in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
