Ms. Hollonds is the Manager of the Children’s Eating Laboratory in the School of Medicine, Section of Pediatric Nutrition at the University of Colorado Denver.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Community Health from the University of Northern Colorado and a master’s degree in Health Sciences (Public Health) from Deakin University, Victoria Australia. She is currently working on her lactation educator certification through the CAPPA program.
Her areas of expertise include cultural and gender influences on health, early childhood development and education, nutrition, women’s studies and epidemiology. Ms. Hollonds has over eight years experience in both community and public health. She has studied and worked both nationally and internationally gaining diverse multi-cultural areas of expertise in health and well-being.
She has served on the Medical Home Advisory Board, the Family Leadership Task Force and the Multi-cultural committee for the Developmental Disabilities Council. Ms. Hollonds is involved in many health and nutrition related research projects at the University of Colorado.
