The Food
Technology Center is administered by the University of Idaho
Department of Food Science and Toxicology and staffed on-site by
extension food scientists and food production specialists. Faculty from the food science department, as
well as state and local agency professionals are available for project
assistance, collaboration and supervision. Student interns from the Moscow
campus may also be available to assist with some projects at the FTC or on-site
at your facility.
The FTC has the potential and/or resources to serve a
variety of functions including:

Project Collaboration
The
FTC also specializes in food processing and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices)
processing for scientific research.
The cost for use of the Food Technology Center will
operate on a sliding scale based upon the specific needs of each project or
client.
