About llamas
Dear Editor,
Re the blurb on the inside cover of the subject magazine:
"Inca woman and child ride llama." It is my understanding the llamas are not ridden but are used for fiber, food and beasts of burden. Please let me know if it is otherwise.
I came here 25 years ago from PA. My higher education consists of two years in the nursing program at Bucks County Community College in PA. I subscribed to the magazine because I raise sheep and goats and am interested in all things related to agriculture (took the Master Gardeners class). :0)
Thank you!

Hi Judy,
Thanks for your question. Here is at least one resource on the matter of riding llamas-

Nice to hear from you.
