Dear Editor,

I received a copy of the recent UI program (Programs & People) that
featured a wonderful picture of four of our Kamiah (Idaho) residents along
with Lori Higgins. You did a very nice job putting that together.
Well done!

I would like to use portions of the magazine in the
newspaper to let people know that Kamiah is getting noticed. Would it
be all right to use the photo of the Kamiah group, the cover of the
magazine, as well as portions of your article about "the Conscious
Communities? Credit will be extended to you and the U of I, of course.

We got the magazine here in the department today. It looks so sharp and lots of good information. I love your small communities and planning story. This is very appropriate for Moscow right now since the community is developing a new comprehensive plan. Need to send a copy to each of the city council members and have it available at city offices.  This is a great tool.
 
And the story on Maui….both Shawn Campbell and Tyrel Dyer are our departmental graduates. Thanks for this story. I am putting it on our website to use as a recruitment tool.  Who wouldn’t like to be working in Hawaii!

Reading "Programs & People" is a nice reminder to living/working on the Palouse.  The magazine has "Sunset" quality, through and through!   Just a coincidence?

Thanks for the nice comments about Programs & People. If there is any reflection of Sunset, I’m delighted. I no doubt was affected by 17 years of working for that great publication. Thanks for noticing.
