Dr.
Cindy Hiess, RD
Cindy
is currently a faculty member in the School of Family and
Consumer Sciences, University of Idaho, Moscow, and
Courseware developer in the Center for Teaching and Learning
Technologies, Washington State University, Pullman.
She moved to the Pacific Northwest
from San Luis Obispo, CA, where she
taught Nutrition Education and Communications and Nutrition
Counseling
at Cal Poly State University. At Cal Poly,
she was responsible for enhancing the multimedia capacity
of the Food Science
and Nutrition Department, and was Principle Investigator on
two grants involving the development of web-based learning
tools. This site is part of one of those grants, a USDA Higher
Education Challenge Grant. Cindy can be reached via email

Laurel Branen RD, LD
Associate Professor,
School of Family and Consumer Sciences,
University of Idaho
A registered dietitian, Dr. Branen specializes
in nutrition education. She teaches courses
in nutrition, foods, and eating disorders.
