How to use this map

This map shows the proportion of plants showing virus-disease-like symptoms out of 1500 plants randomly sampled along three 100-m transects in each of 30 locations. Plants were scored as either symptomatic or healthy based on visual inspection. The data are plotted as circles with radius proportional to the percentage of plants with symptoms at each site. Sites with no circle (just the yellow cans) were sampled but symptoms were not observed. The samples were taken from pea or lentil fields depending upon site.
