"Student's individual interests are very important to the professors
of this department. My major professor went out of his way to secure me a project dealing with the wine grape industry. Today, thanks to
the doors my thesis work opened, I work as a viticulturist for the largest wine company in the world.
The smallness of the AgEcon department is what made it so unique for me. It provided the opportunity to get-to-know each member of the
faculty and staff, not only on a professional level, but on a personal level as well. When I graduated I felt like I was leaving close
friends, not just a department."
