Mr.Gray joined the U of I's Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology Department in 1980 after working for 3 years as a Research Associate in UC-Davis' Extension Economics unit. Interests are western dairy, beef and lamb economics and marking, farm management, and incorporating sustainable technology in management. Programs cover costs of production, FINPACK financial analysis, farm business analysis, marketing alternatives and livestock outlook, and the Lost Rivers Grazing Academy for Management Intensive Grazing. Regional project include the Livestock Marketing Information Center, the Right Risk program and risk Management strategies. Applied research is conducted to Support educational programs for clientele.
